We’re happy to announce that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, developed by Sumo Digital studio The Chinese Room, has been shortlisted in the ‘Most Wanted Game’ category at the 2023 Golden Joysticks Awards.

The awards, now in its 41st year, allow millions of fans to support and vote for their favourite games, developers, publishers, and people of the last 12 months.

Bloodlines 2 is the successor to the 2004 cult-classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and takes players to the dark underbelly of Seattle where vampires struggle for survival and supremacy.

As an Elder vampire, players meet compelling characters, manoeuvre complex political relationships, and stalk the city streets for prey – engaging in intense combat while balancing the need for blood. Throughout the game, players must always be mindful of their surroundings or risk breaking the Masquerade – the absolute law of secrecy that keeps vampire society hidden from humanity.

Meanwhile, A Little to the Left: Cupboards & Drawers DLC – from Sumo Group’s publishing division Secret Mode – has been nominated for the Best Game Expansion award.

The voting is now open until the 20th of October, and gamers can cast their vote here. Winners will be revealed during the live show event at Royal Lancaster in London on 10th November.
