Sumo Newcastle and publisher Secret Mode have revealed the single-player mode offering for DEATHSPRINT 66, ahead of its release next month.
Known as Episodes, DEATHSPRINT 66’s single-player, PvE modes provide players with the opportunity to win rewards by taking part in 3-5 stage tournaments both solo and against AI opponents, which are filled with mechanical twists and challenges.
[DEATHSPRINT 66’S PvE modes will offer players new challenges, and the opportunity to improve their on-track skills.]
There are nine ‘Episodes’ to take part in, which are designed to challenge the very best racers and push their skills to new levels. These include:
Killing Time & Killing More Time: Players start a race with just 15 seconds on the clock, and have to top up their time by racing through games and avoiding painful (and messy) head explosions.
Five Lives: The number of clones per race is strictly limited, meaning anything less than a first-place finish means failure.
Bloodbath Circuits & Bloodbath Sprints: For the truly hardcore among you, the Bloodbath episodes see the map difficulty increase and gain extra hazards throughout… and only the first-place finish will enable you to progress.
In the year 2066, DEATHSPRINT 66 is the deadliest show on earth run by the Bachman Media Network, where challenges set their Clone Jockeys to compete in bloody, brutal bipedal races. Players can take part in either thrilling, 8-player PvP or single-player PvE on-foot races across extreme obstacle courses that push the boundaries of entertainment. Run, jump, drift, slide… and try not to die as you navigate your way through deadly tracks.
