Sumo Newcastle has released the content roadmap for its multiplayer, deathly bipedal racing game, DEATHSPRINT 66, which contains new cosmetics, tracks and features due to arrive onto the game throughout the winter season.

In this ultra-fast, ultra-violent racer, players find themselves in the dystopian future where the Bachman Media Network runs the deadliest show on earth: DEATHSPRINT 66. Clone racers must compete on deadly, obstacle-laden tracks and race for victory.

DEATHSPRINT 66’s content roadmap details some key updates coming to the game, including:

• 11th November 2024: Introduction of an ‘offline’ mode and five virtual ‘AR’ tracks to the core PvP course rotation, as well as a number of improvements and bug fixes.

• November 2024: Introduction of ‘prestige’ mode and new skins for the top (and bottom) players in each match, plus three new tracks: Vertigo, Blackout and Smog.

• December 2024: A new ‘events playlist’ with featured content and rewards, plus three new tracks: Virus, Hard-Drive and Sakura.

• January 2025: A brand-new ability, new traps, new cosmetics and a further three new tracks: Scorched, Caldera and Meltdown.

If you’re new to the tracks of DEATHSPRINT 66, be sure to connect with your fellow racers on Discord, and be sure to level up your futuristic racer knowledge by checking out the Behind the Speed Developer Diary series.

DEATHSPRINT 66 is available now for PC via Steam.
