We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve received the Best Studio award for the second year running!

The award was announced on Wednesday evening at the Develop:Star Awards in Brighton, an event which recognises the very best games and talent within the industry. This success comes off the back of hosting our first-ever Sumo Developer Conference last month, which saw hundreds of our people come together to collaborate and listen to over 50 talks from speakers in the industry.

Elsewhere, it was a great evening for Sumo Group overall as our Recruitment Team won the Recruitment Star award. The win follows a bumper year for the team as the Group has welcomed two new studios in the last 12 months – Auroch Digital and Sumo Bangalore – plus, the news of PixelAnt Games’ expansion into the Czech Republic.

In addition to our success at the Develop:Star Awards, our Leeds-based studio Red Kite Games was also announced as one of the Best Place to Work at the GI.Biz Awards.
