We’re proud to see that three of our talented team members collected awards during Develop: Brighton 2024!

Amy Elliott, Junior Programmer at Sumo Leamington, was named ‘Tomorrow’s Star’ at the 2024 Develop: Star Awards. Described by her team as a key player who brings fearlessness, an enthusiasm for learning and exceptional skill to her role and the wider team, Amy is also a regular host of the Game Dev London podcast, gets involved with Women in Games, GirlsTech and the Ahead Partnership and so much more. Congratulations, Amy!

Also returning from Brighton victorious are The Chinese Room’s Callum Munro (Senior Technical Support Analyst) and Qin Yu (Dialogue Designer) who won the Unsung Hero and the Sound Hero awards, respectively at the 2024 Game Dev Hero Awards.

Both of these events took place during July 2024 during Develop: Brighton – one of the UK’s biggest conference, networking and expo events.
