Your morning coffee is about to get a whole lot cuter as Sumo Newcastle’s cosy creature collecting café (phew) game Critter Café is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on 26th of November 2024.

Critters are waiting to be saved from mysterious portals, each with a new puzzle to challenge your wits. Once saved, Critters can be invited into your café, free to roam as you pour coffee and deliver cakes to customers or serving as the star attraction for special bookings.

Customisation is at the heart of Critter Café, and players can express themselves with a wide range of outfits and physical features, and are able to design their café in their favourite style with furniture, accessories and décor.

Keen cosy fans can also enjoy new gameplay for Critter Café and exclusive interviews with the development team, revealed recently by cosy content creator Eewona. Players will also be able to get their hands on a Demo of Critter Café during Steam Next Fest from the 14th – 21st of October.

It’s been a busy year for Sumo Newcastle, who – in partnership with publisher Secret Mode – will have released two new games by the end of the year. Critter Café is their second release, as just last month they launched brutal bipedal racer DEATHSPRINT 66 onto PC.
