Welcome to the Co-Dev Download – a regular feature where we share the games Sumo Digital studios are working on with some of our partners.

This month, our teams have been busy porting, portrait painting and pouring coffee for a range of great games.

V RISING | PORTING TO CONSOLE

Anarchs at Auroch Digital met Sires at Stunlock Studios to turn smash-hit Vampire RPG game, V Rising, into a full release experience for PlayStation. Following the game’s hugely successful Steam Early Access launch, Auroch had to ensure they maintained the game’s core gameplay experience which had become so beloved by players.

Bringing their extensive console knowledge – having brought titles including Warhammer: 40,000: Boltgun, Mars Horizon and Brewmaster to the platform – to the project, they were able to create a satisfying gamepad control system, and got the game running at 60fps and 1080p

In V Rising, you awaken as a vampire and must hunt for blood in nearby settlements to regain your strength and evade the scorching sun to survive. Raise your castle and thrive in an ever-changing, open world full of mystery. Gain allies online and conquer the land of the living.

V Rising is available to play now on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. More information can be found on the website.
