Racers rejoice! The debut title from Sumo Leamington, Stampede: Racing Royale, is headed to the Xbox Insider Program this month.
The game, which is due to be released into early access later this year, will have a work-in-progress version available to download for free from the 27th of March for everyone with the Xbox Insider Hub app. Following last year’s playtests, this version of Stampede has a host of new features, content, and ways to play for players to test and feedback on, with everyone who participates receiving an exclusive in-game customisation item when Early Access begins.

Stampede: Racing Royale pits 60 players against one another across three-round eliminator events, culminating in a high-stakes finale to crown the winner. Rounds include Stampede Races, which offer classic karting action on outrageously inventive circuits against 59 players, and Stampede Battles, where competitors are locked in power-up laden arenas to fight their way to victory.
