We’re so proud that two of our amazing team have been shortlisted at the 2023 Midlands Women in Tech Awards!
First, Programme Manager Claudia Bistriceanu has been shortlisted for the Project Delivery Lead Award. This nomination recognises Claudia’s amazing work on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre working to manage tasks and time in the development team to ensure the project was delivered to a high standard and to deadline. Since joining our studio in 2020, Claudia has worked on a range of projects to which she has brought organisation, professionalism and level-headedness to all she does.
Also shortlisted is Julia Vereenoghe in the Rising Star category. As Lead UI Artist, Julia has played an instrumental role in the development of the UI/UX for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and has worked in collaboration with the art team to create an authentic experience for players. Her attention to detail, skill and commitment to delivering exceptional work has seen Julia grow in confidence in not just her work, but as a lead for her team.
Both of these exceptional women are a credit to everyone at Sumo Nottingham, and we’re so pleased they’re being recognised for all they do and everything they bring to the studio.
Voting is now open, and you can support Claudia and Julia here! The winners of the 2023 Midlands Women in Tech Awards will be revealed on the 9th of October 2023. Good luck to all the nominees!
