SUPER-STARS
It was another incredible month for Sumo Digital on the awards front in July as we won the ‘Best Studio’ award for the second year running at the 2022 Develop:Star Awards. Elsewhere, it was a great evening for Sumo Group overall as our Recruitment Team won the Recruitment Star award too!

Congratulations also go to Red Kite Games as our Leeds-based studio was listed among Gi.biz’s UK Best Places to Work 2022. The awards are the only event to celebrate employer excellence specifically for the video games industry.

SACKBOY GETS A NEW LOOK
GameRant was one of the many media sites that covered the news that two free costume DLCs are coming to Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the award-winning platform game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

A NIGHT AT THE PROMS
Gamers and music fans alike are getting excited for the first ever ‘Gaming Prom’ to be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London this year. As confirmed in VGC’s report, audiences will be able to enjoy music from Dear Esther, the first-person exploration and adventure game developed by the awesome folks at The Chinese Room.
