Cosmonauts! Lost civilisations, undersea kingdoms, prehistoric jungles and lands beyond imagination await you as The Chinese Room announce that Little Orpheus is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Little Orpheus is a technicolour side-scrolling adventure game which sends players back in time to 1962 as NASA are trying to put a man on the moon. Meanwhile, in a remote corner of Siberia, a Soviet cosmonaut is heading in the other direction. Fearless Ivan Ivanovich is dropped into an extinct volcano in his exploration capsule, Little Orpheus, to explore the centre of the Earth. Delivered in eight bite-size, commute-friendly episodes, Little Orpheus is simple enough for casual players, but rich enough for seasoned adventure fans.

Released for Apple Arcade in 2020, Little Orpheus received praise for its stunning visuals, world-class soundtrack and storytelling, and won Best Mobile Game and Best Platformer Game at the Develop: Star and Pocket Gamer Awards, respectively.

This definitive edition of the multi-award-winning Apple Arcade hit is rebuilt and remastered for the big screen with hi-res textures, new animations, and enhanced graphics and effects. Little Orpheus for PC and consoles also features the bonus ninth episode – A Rush of Onion to the Head – and the Lost Recordings Mode from the original release.

Gary Dunn, Managing Director at Sumo Digital: “We are thrilled to be bringing Little Orpheus to a wider range of gamers across multiple platforms this year. This is the definitive edition of the superb action-adventure first introduced on Apple Arcade, which has already reached acclaimed status with mobile gamers, and we’re looking forward to many more players diving into this vibrant, explorative experience very soon.”

Little Orpheus is available to play now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch. For more information, visit the website.
