It’s double delight for Sumo Digital as we’ve been nominated for two awards at the upcoming MCV/DEVELOP Awards 2022.
We’ve been shortlisted for the ‘Major Studio of the Year’ award, which will see us compete against five other studios for the crown. We’re also thrilled to be a finalist for the ‘Audio Innovation of the Year’ award for our work on the fantastic 3D multiplayer platform game Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
The award shortlist follows recent success for Sumo Digital after seven of its studios were awarded with regional accolades in the ‘Best Companies’ categories last month – these include Sumo Nottingham placed (East Midlands); Sumo Leamington and Lab42 Games (West Midlands); Sumo Newcastle (North East); The Chinese Room (South East); and Sumo Sheffield and Red Kite Games (Yorkshire & the Humber).
We’ll find out the results at the MCV/DEVELOP Awards ceremony, due to be held in London on April 28.
