The Ask

Sumo Digital was tasked with:

  • Delivering a game based on an iconic IP while innovating within the asymmetric survival-horror genre.
  • Creating a highly authentic experience that respects the license and fanbase.
  • Building a robust multiplayer architecture to support ongoing content and live services.
  • Managing end-to-end development from concept through launch and live operations.

Our Involvement

  • Developed an innovative asymmetric multiplayer design.
  • Created all concept and design in-house.
  • Built and deployed the multiplayer service backend, including architecture and maintenance.
  • Delivered a DLC content plan and managed live services post-launch.
  • Worked closely with Gun Interactive to ensure authenticity and full utilisation of the license.
