The Ask
Sumo Digital was tasked with:
- Delivering a game based on an iconic IP while innovating within the asymmetric survival-horror genre.
- Creating a highly authentic experience that respects the license and fanbase.
- Building a robust multiplayer architecture to support ongoing content and live services.
- Managing end-to-end development from concept through launch and live operations.
Our Involvement
- Developed an innovative asymmetric multiplayer design.
- Created all concept and design in-house.
- Built and deployed the multiplayer service backend, including architecture and maintenance.
- Delivered a DLC content plan and managed live services post-launch.
- Worked closely with Gun Interactive to ensure authenticity and full utilisation of the license.
