WARFRAME
Warframe is a hugely popular third-person action shooter with over 80 million players worldwide. Set in the sprawling Origin System, players loot up, load out, and carve their own paths through an ever-evolving universe filled with missions, lore, and cooperative gameplay.
The Challenge
Warframe is a live game that has continually reinvented itself, introducing new modes, content, and experiences to keep players engaged. Working with Digital Extremes, Sumo was tasked with:
- Supporting ongoing development in a proprietary engine.
- Delivering fresh gameplay experiences while maintaining the integrity of Warframe’s established systems.
- Providing cross-discipline support across design, art, and engineering.
