Day in the life of a Senior Live Ops Designer:
As a Live Ops Designer, you will play an essential and high impact role in the success of our game, Stampede: Racing Royale.
Your day will start with reviewing the performance of your latest activation and collaborating with your peers on how those insights can improve your next activation. You’ll spend your day planning out the live calendar of Stampede and deciding what content we release where in partnership with the Product Management team, with true agency as to what we do and why.
You’ll be a key part of the wider Design team and will be expected to feedback on the work of your peers as well as contribute to the development of new features and tooling that help you to better execute our live plans.
Please note, this role can be worked remotely from within the UK. 
What you need to do this job:
• Experience of working on a live service game is essential, but we don’t mind which platform or business model.
• Experience of being responsible for the Live Ops calendar of a game (or large parts of the calendar) and have worked collaboratively with Community Managers, Product Managers, and Artists.
• Experience of working in-engine and/or with development tools. You’re not afraid to try out new tech and are comfortable jumping into projects and learning on the job.
• Passion about min/maxing the performance of Time Limited Events, Store content, and other “moments” players care about.
• A history of working with third-party IP and/or licensed content is a plus.
The Interview Process:
At Sumo Digital, we take a holistic and engaging interview process that allows us to get to know you, your skills, and your potential. For our Senior Live Ops Designer role, we have a three-stage interview process:
1st Stage: 1-hour with our Product Manager and Senior Game Designer. Here, we will talk with you about your experience, our expectations in the role and ask some competency-based questions. There will, of course, also be opportunities for you to ask questions!
2nd Stage: 1-hour with our Lead Product Manager and Product Manager. This will be a technical focused interview.
3rd Stage: 1-hour with our Studio Art Director and Design Director. You will have a chance to ask questions and find out more about what it's like to work for Sumo Leamington!
