Sumo Digital announces partnership with Code Coven

Our parent company Sumo Group has announced its partnership with Code Coven – the first global games industry accelerator for underrepresented talent. 

The organisation, which provides marginalised developers with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the games industry. This includes opening up safe educational spaces fortrans/cis women, trans men, nonbinary and gender-non conforming people.The partnership will see Sumo Group contributing to participating in workshops, events, Q&As and helping to raise awareness of Code Coven’s initiatives and projects. The Group will also subsidise the Sparks Masterclass enabling participants to learn at no financial cost to themselves.

Code Coven is the third EDI partner announced by Sumo Group this year as the company continues to work towards a more diverse and inclusive industry. The company is a platinum sponsor of industry mentor scheme Limit Break, a partner of Into Games, a non-profit who support people on their journey in developing skills and confidence to thrive in games, the Group will continue supporting long-term partners Women in Games, Ahead Partnership and Mission Gender Equality (through the 30% Club) through 2022.
