Sumo Features in Sheffield City Art

Sumo have been included in the new hoardings that have been erected outside Sheffield Train Station...

Local freelance photographer Jamie Bubb won the commission to fill the hoardings with examples of Sheffield's dedication and achievement within the areas of future technology and multicultural progress. His idea was to fill the 100m long hoarding (that surrounds the rebuild site of the old student union building) with a street-side image of real Sheffield people interacting with their environment in a fun and fantastic way.

Some of the characters from Sumo's latest DS title, 'New International Track and Field' (for Konami), as well as dev team members were used to represent Sheffield's reputation for video game creation.
