Sumo India was set up in 2007 to support the production needs of the Sheffield based UK developer, Sumo Digital. The Pune based studio has 30 staff with a range of talents, all contributing to various projects in production on gaming platforms that include Xbox360, PlayStation3, Wii, PSP and DS.

In 2007 Sumo joined Foundation 9 and since then Sumo India has begun to demonstrate its talents world wide and contribute to projects across the whole of the group. The studio is heavily art-focused and currently produces a wide variety of assets including, Vehicles, Characters, Environments and Animation.
